spacer.gif (818 bytes)Bed and breakfast-style hospitality is available on the Crystal Coast in beautiful settings on the beach, on the sound and in historic Beaufort. Room arrangements and breakfast specialties vary in each inn. Most do not have facilities for young children or pets, and many limit smoking to certain areas of the house.

All lodgings in Beaufort are historic bed and breakfast inns that offer charming surroundings, memorable views and warm hospitality. Most are in the historic district and within walking distance of the waterfront, boardwalk, shopping areas, restaurants, North Carolina Maritime Museum and historic sites. There are two larger inns, Beaufort Inn and Inlet Inn, that are operated in bed-and-breakfast style. Both are constructed in the old Beaufort architectural style, as required by the Beaufort Historic Preservation Commission. And, on the outer reaches of town, is the Carteret County Home Bed and Breakfast. Its hosts have the appropriate sense of humor for a poorhouse bed and breakfast inn, and the inn is a delight.

A range of prices is offered by each inn based on amenities of each room or suite of rooms. We have offered a separate price code for Bed and Breakfast Inns to be as informative as possible on average rates charged by each inn.
