Carteret County's media scene is somewhat limited but the options that are available are top quality. The county does not have a daily newspaper, but the Carteret County News-Times does a good job covering the news three days a week. Smaller weekly community newspapers cover specific areas of the county. The Jacksonville Daily News also covers some Carteret County news.
